Planning a vacation or honeymoon can be hard when deciding on what area you want to go to or if you should do an all inclusive resort. But logically, it could be the best choice for your wallet. Most everything is included. There are some extras that are not covered under the umbrella of inclusion. There are some really great resorts out there that aren’t going to cost you your life savings.
1. St James’s Club Morgan Bay
This 22 acre property is in the gorgeous land of St. Lucia. Its a family resort that features 4 pools, 5 restaurants, 6 bars, and an amazing kids club. Although the rooms aren’t as luxurious and the bathrooms are on the smaller side, the prices are the best across the whole island. But all rooms have a private balcony and have full or partial views of the ocean. They also have weddings and vow renewals right on their grounds.
2. Gran Caribe
This lovely resort can be found in Cancun, Mexico. This is also a family-friendly resort that’s affordable and can be found in the heart of all the hotels in Cancun! The resort has 487 suites that have their own private balcony or terrace. The beachfront is a great location with the white sandy beaches and clear beaches just right outside your door. To keeps this kids busy, you can chose to send them to their age appropriate club or the water park. A down side is all room rates do not come with Wi-Fi, so if you need to work you may have to pay a little extra!
3. Grand Palladium
This is a very large resort in Jamaica. Even though the resort is so big there is enough for privacy, fun, and intimacy. It has 5 pools, name brand liquor, wonderful food, large rooms and even a mini golf course! There is 450 junior suites and 90 suites. There is also 7 restaurants including a beach side restaurant specializing in seafood and 13 bars. If you are into a healthy life style there is a wellness center as well. Like to bet your odds against the man? No problem man, there is a Casino right on the grounds!
4. Riu Palace
Riu Palace has a few resorts. Their Bahamas location is one of the few all-inclusive resorts on the island. This resort was recently renovated with beautiful fresh decor. Riu also has stocked mini bars with liquor dispensers and 24 hour room service included in their all inclusive deal. There is nightly entertainment as well as a sports bar that is open all night. There is a nice convenience store that sells a nice selection of wine, in case the two of you would prefer some private time in your room!
5. Viva Wyndham
This amazing resort lays in Punta Cana. The rooms here are nice but are very simple, you may chose to have a garden or ocean view. There are 3 pools on the grounds. The all inclusive packages offers all meals and snacks, cocktails, beverages, wine and non-motorized sports, daily activities, nighttime entertainment and much much more. They even offer dance lessons and a kid’s club (ages 4-12 years of age).
